Newest Addition

Tonight I met our new baby girl. She is currently sleeping in the arms of her grandma and is just so beautiful. We have no idea what we will name her yet, but we'll get back to you all on that one. For now, here are the first pictures we have of our newest little one.

I admit, I was so nervous before they came with the baby that I was light headed and felt sick. But as soon as I saw her, I was smitten. She reminds me a lot of Samantha when she was born -- both of them feel like a feather. And what was Samantha's reaction? So far so good. When they handed the baby over to me, everyone stood around and watched, including Samantha. While being held, she leaned over so she could get a good look at her new baby sister. I think they'll hit it off.

    Aahh! Congratulations you guys! I was so surprised to see that you got your little girl. That seemed fast, was it? When did you guys start the process? Sorry, all these questions from the social worker here. She is BEAUTIFUL!!! Can't wait to hear what you name her.

    That is so neat, I admire you so much. What a blessing to have a new baby in your family! She is very adorable! I'm not sure I ever told you that you really had a great influence on me-through your RS lessons and VT'ing. You're personality just shines, and you truly live the gospel to the fullest.     she is so beautiful. i am so happy for you and marcus and samantha. wish he could be there with you. you two look so good together. i can't wait to see a picture of the girls laying side by side. our prayers are with you and you four-some family now. hehe.

    JEN!!! It is so incredible that one day there's nothing going on in the future as far as you know and the next you're on a plane to pick up your new baby girl! She's soooooo cute and I totally LOVE her hair. What are the chances our peanut will have hair like that??? Anyway, she's darling!! How big is she? She's looks so tiny! When do you go home? Do you need help with anything? I'm so jealous that you didn't have to go through labor to get such a cutie. If you miss it, you can go through mine for me in a couple months... :) Love you Jen.     We can't even begin to tell you how excited we are for you. I don't know if I told you but I have a brother who has adopted 3 kids from LDS Family Services, two of them are half black. When I look at your picture. . . I WANT HER!!!! You guys are so lucky and blessed to have her in your life!
