(Drum roll please)
Introducing....our newly named beautiful baby girl....
(excuse the fact that I can't seem to download new pictures right now)
Callie Jasmine Green
After much debate, we found a name. No longer will she be "the baby"! Callie means beautiful (though that's not the reason, necessarily, that we named her that), and Jasmine was the name that her birthmom named her in the hospital, and we wanted Callie to have that connetion. We did have the opportunity to meet with her birthmother the other day. We were both in awe at how much she gives for so little in return. She is a loving, peaceful, shy, kind, gentle, attractive, dedicated, hard-working, and wonderful person. We look forward to keeping a relationship with her (but at this point we're not sure how close that will be. We have the impression that she wasn't sure what she wanted.). And no matter what our relationship with her birthmother is, Callie will know how amazing and tender her birthmother is. With that said, we officially welcome our little Callie.

The name totally fits her. I looked at her and thought, "yep. She's a Callie for sure." I bet that Callie's birthmom feels the same way about you. What an amazing connection you two moms will have through that amazing baby!

I am Ariana's sister and a cousin-in-law to MaryIrene and they told me that you were trying to adopt. Congratulations on your adoption. My husband and I should get approved for adoption through LDSFS in Salt Lake City in a couple of days and then our waiting begins.
I'm happy for you. Kim Coulam
