Let me just ask you a question. How do you possibly get kids to take a good picture together?
I think of all the days since the beginning of this world's history, that Friday was the darkest. But the doom of that day did not endure. The despair did not linger because on Sunday, the resurrected Lord burst the bonds of death. He ascended fromt he grave and appeared gloriously triumphant as the Savior of all mankind...
Each of us will have our own Fridays -- those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. We will all have our Fridays.
But I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered death -- Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come. No matter our desperation no matter our grief Sunday will come. In this life or the next, Sunday will come."

Oh my goodness, what a beautiful family! and thank you for the quote...one of my favorites that I had forgotten about.
Don't worry, I have the same problem taking pictures of my kids. I have these great ideas of how the pictures will turn out, and it never turns out that way! Oh well! Yours look good!
I think we are harder on our own pictures than other people. I might have the exact pose/facial expression as someone else, but theirs look cuter to me. I think the second one of the kids looks pretty good. I know its not Callie's best smile, but its a good sibling picture.
The answer is clearly demonstrated in your photos...you have their sweet Momma hold them and poof! a perfect picture of your babies and you on Easter.
Awesome!
Beautiful children you have. I just found your blog, and are going to follow you :-)
By the way...I have two wonderful boys with microcephaly. You can visit us here http://eventyrgennemlivet.blogspot.dk
