...I'm running/jogging/trotting the Provo River 1/2 Marathon! (That's 13.1 miles for all of you who do not know.) Hopefully all goes well. It's a month from today. AH. I'm excited and really nervous. I got a confirmation email today that told my my bib number. I can't wait to pin that to my shirt. How cool will that look?!
As I've been running, I've noticed some things that make the task a bit easier. Today, while pushing Callie in the stroller, two such things stood out to me.
1) Running without a stroller.
2) Running on a flat surface or downhill.
Yes, surely these things make running easier.

I'm glad she likes the jogging stroller now. Congrats on signing up. If you train pushing one of the girls the whole time, imagine how easy the race will be when you aren't pushing anyone.
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! i am so excited for you. i'm coming to utah the third week of august and i'm seriously bringing you an additional medal.
p.s. glad you've already figured out running with a stroller is NOT easy. But, you'll be so grateful you trained with a stroller because running the race without one will be a breeze (well, not a breeze, but you know what i mean...).
That is great! My brother is planning on running that too. Good luck with it!
Amazing! I want to come run with you, but I could only run a 5k. Your brother on the other hand is training for a mini-triathalon, he's also amazing!
Jenny, you are an amazing woman! By they way, last night Michael took the picture of Callie off of the frig and brought it to me asking, "When do I get to meet my new cousin?" He's excited--he adores babies!~
It's a fun race. It's been a long time since I ran it (or anything for that matter), but the Provo River 1/2M is a fun one. You will never run a faster first mile in your life!
