Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was so fun to read. I partly wanted to read it because my sister-in-law, Annie, rates this among her favorite books. But, I have been wanting to read a good, fun book. This fit the bill. In the Disney version of Peter Pan, I liked Peter (or I think I did). In the book though, I found myself annoyed with him. Perhaps I'm just too grown-up.
It was a fun book that Callie keeps asking me to read to her -- and I will one day.

I don't know if your library uses Overdrive, but it's a free service where you can check out audiobooks for free. The Reading of Peter Pan by Jim Dale is pretty enchanting.
I also found myself annoyed with Peter, but I think I would also have found myself annoyed with him if I saw the original again...maybe I've just had too many experiences with people who had no desire to grow up at all now. :)
