Nearly every time I try to discipline Callie in any way, I laugh. I don't know what it is about her. But this could prove to cause serious problems in the future. We're trying to teach her not to play with the computer keyboard because she can reach it...and it's a pain. Just now, she reached up and started hitting the keys. I looked down and said, "Callie, no." She looked at me, pursed her lips together, and said, "no no no no no no." I had to cover my mouth with my hand and try to keep my eyes looking stern. This is very tricky. Overall, I am getting better, but there is something about this girl that makes me crack all too often. Oh to have cute kids. What's a mom to do?

One day she'll do something you really don't think is the least bit funny. Then she'll think that she would rather make you laugh than make you mad and she won't do THAT again (but she might keep playing with the keyboard). Sheez--this is a tough one b/c she truly is so darn stinkin' cute!
Jenny,
Sorry. I got mixed up. I got the fruit leather recipe from the book Brown Bag Success (please pretend that's underlined or in italics). :) Anyway, here it is:
Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray, then pour and spread evenly 1.5 cups of applesauce. Preheat oven to 400 F, then when you put the cookie sheet into the oven, turn it down to 200 F. The recipe said to cook it for 3 hours, but I'm just cooking mine for 2.5 hrs, and I think it's perfect. Peel it out before it cools, or it will stick to the pan. Pretty easy and better than candy!
